Your favorite Southern states? Least favorite Southern states?

Favorites: I love the South, so this is mostly a hard decision for me. Let's see...Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, the Carolinas, and Tennessee.

Arkansas is okay, would not be my first choice to live: nice folks, but boring scenery east of Little Rock.

I'm apathetic about Florida and West Virginia: pretty boring states. I can honestly say I don't like Kentucky and Virginia because while the scenery is nice, the people are not.

    Favorite? Alabama. We moved here from Chicago and were really surprised at what a cool place this really is. North Carolina comes a close second.

    Least? Louisiana. I've had to travel and do business there a lot. Outside of Bourbon Street and the tourist trade, the rest of the state is a corrupt, dysfunctional, mean-spirited pit.

    Seeing as how I moved to Georgia because I fell in love with it the first time I visited, my vote is for Georgia. I'm from Tennessee and I wasn't a fan. Then again, I do love coastal South Carolina so that's probably a close second. Florida is just not even part of the South so that's not even a consideration for me. GWB is from Texas so Texas pretty much rocks too! Great accents from Texas also!!!

    I think areas of all the Southern states can be cool. I'm partial to Arkansas since I grew up there. I currently live in south MS which used to be a lot cooler before Katrina.

    Mississippi is my prominent because of the fact it has the Tunica county casinos alongside the river which makes a great holiday holiday spot. the each and every person is friendly and the winters are mild so this is a great harm from the Northeast. Texas is my unfavorite because of the fact it has a foul climate and each thing is purely too a approaches remote from everyplace else so using is a issue.

    Texas is the best. No matter what kind of terrain you like living in, forest plains desert mountains whatever, you can find it there.

    Least favorite is probably Oklahoma but that's only because I live here and not Texas like I'd like.
