What can I do in Washington D.C in 3 to 4 days?

First of all, see first the House of the President of the USA, the White House. It is located at the heart of Washington D.C. at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. It has 132 rooms.

See also Congress, it is where representatives & senators from your place go to represent your State. There are 435 representatives & 100 senators.

The Smithsonian Institution is the largest museum complex in the world. It owns dinosaur bones, historic airplanes, zoo, famous paintings.

The Smithsonian's Air and Space Museum is where the first plane used by the Wright Brothers is. It has also the command module of Apollo 11, which was the first to land in the moon.

The Smithsonian's Museum of National History owns a collection of 1,500 dinosaurs.

PRESIDENTIAL MONUMENTS:

1. Washington Monument , taller than a 50 story building. It is in honor of George Washington.

2. Jefferson Memorial , in honor of Thomas Jefferson, USA's 3rd President.

3. President Abraham Lincoln at the Lincoln Memorial , Inscribed in it is his Gettysburg speech.

4. Franklin D. Roosevelt, is the newest one!

The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, opened in 1993.
