How long did it take you ....?
....to get back into your pre-pregnancy clothes and how did you do it? My first two, I was back down to my "original" size within a year without much effort, watching what I ate and just regular everyday activity. I just had a baby five months ago and at this point I am just not seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I am a SAHM now, where as I went back to work after the other two. I still watch what I eat and have taken up walking five nights a week (if it isn't to cold out) but the weight just won't go away. I know it will take time but anybody else been in the same boat, have a story they would like to share or give some great advice I am all ears. I just need a little encouragemnet at this point I am getting frustrated with myself.
I had brestfed for the first two months, but my stupid OB/GYN put me on a pill that dried everything up, so that is not an option anymore.

Don't get down on yourself!
Look at it this way: It took you nine whole months to put the weight on... You need to give yourself at Least that long to take it off again.
I too just had my third child - almost exactly one year ago. It took me a little longer to get the weight loss going this time around too. For one, your metabolism slows down with age, so the weight doesn't just drop off like it did with the first two.
Chin up! It takes time, and a little more effort, but it sounds to me like you are doing everything right! Keep at it, and you'll start to see progress before you know it!

I was able to get back into my pre-pregnancy clothing a couple of months after I had my daughter. Even though I was able to put them on I still had a sagging belly that looked like I was still expecting. My daughter is now 5 months and I look like I did previously with a little more meat on my buttocks and still that pouch on my belly. Some people said I would never lose the pouch because it is there from stretched skin so I am considering a tummy tuck. Some besides still having a little bit of meat I am able to wear my old clothes again..Good luck

It takes allot you may want to consider going to a gym there are many different machines that help different areas of the body where as walking does the same area's all the time plus it has only been 5 months keep working on it and don't get too discouraged and good luck!

i had the same problem as you. i tried everything and lost a pound here or a pound there, but nothing considerable. mine was just a time issue. for some reason, the closer my son got to 1 year old, the weight just came off by itself.
