The "T" key on my laptop just broke. Well, the little plastic cover (I guess the key itself?) just popped off its underlying connection.
Is this something that can be repaired or does the whole keyboard need to be fixed? It's only been about one month since I bought this laptop, so I should be under some sort of warranty still; I just don't relish the thought of sending the laptop away somewhere for who knows how long.
I've already changed the scissor-like plastic clip from another button, the "END" button, but I'd like to have my keyboard 100% without replacing the whole keyboard.

that would really be the case. if you want your keyboard to become 100% new again you have to send it for repair. some repair center issues a replacement unit while the item is being repaired, i think this applies if the unit is still under warranty. check it also with your repair center.
if you can also ask if they can just give you a brand new unit instead of repairing it since it's only a month old anyway.
