Sour Cream?

I cooked a dish last night to take to dinner today. It has sour cream in it 16 oz. Anyway, I set it out to cool after i cooked it, and just realized I never stuck it in the fridge. Will it be ok to eat this afternoon? Or will people get sick?

Update:

Other recipes like pies also have sour cream in them and you dont have to refrigerate them?

Stick it in the fridge now. It should be fine, but if there's any left after today, I'd throw it away.

People are WAY too freaky about things left out. The old timers didn't have refrigeration at all. If you stick it in the fridge right now and it should be alright. After all sour cream is already sour, right?
