Is there an easy way to make a smoked turkey in a conventional oven?

I want to start with a typical frozen whole turkey, and make a "smoked turkey" at home in a conventional oven.

    Not using real smoke! The home oven is not designed for that! Go buy yourself a small smoker at WM ( can be as cheap as $30) and do it in that. I do not recommend "Liquid Smoke" as a flavoring b/c it always tastes fake.
