Domestically you are right, as far as looking out for the intrests of the USA abroad, he deserves maybe twice that rate IF he hadn't so optimistcally viewed the mindset of the muslim world as compatable with the West. But no one gives him credit for stating we need to stop depending on foreign oil, he is 100% on target there, but no one wants to listen.

On the 1 - 10 scale, that would be a "5.5".

Not great, not horrible, but good enough. Some good decisions, some bad decisions, some undeserved criticism, some deserved criticism, some decisions forced by events.

I think his handling of 9/11 and the War on Terror has been the correct course of action. The tax cuts, the selection of Constitutionist judges, etc. are good.

Steel protectionist tariffs, Medicare prescription benefits, No Child Left without a fistful of public monies, etc, are not so good.

So, a middle grade.

I disagree with him on immigration - I don't think amnesty should be an option for breaking the law.

Donald Rumsfeld needed to go months ago.

Stem cell research I don't understand so I am not in a position to judge his opinion.

I'd rate him a 1 in most things and a 0 in the rest.

Pretty low. 1 or a 2. Mind you a few Democratic Presidents would share the same points as him also.
