Well, he has been trying to do a great job but things did not come out the way he had expected. Look at Iraq.

First of all, if anyone else wants to try and do a better job in the office of running the most powerful country in the world, then go for it. Bush has a very tough job, and just because he is President does not mean that he is superhuman. He can make mistakes. I do believe that he has done and is doing a great job, although a few things coulkd have been done a bit differently. However, we are still flying the American Flag, not the German or Iraqi or Afghan. Support your troops. Taxes suck, yes, but efforts have been made to lower them. Most of you do not know the first thing about how Medicare or Medicaid even works, so until you can do a better job, support your President and stop pissing and moaning about things that would have been the same even with someone else in office. And for God's sake, stop blaming one man for the defects of an entire government as a whole - democrats and republicans together.

A great job? Not entirely - but still think he's certainly doing as good or better of a job than Kerry could have, given the circumstances.

People tend to forget that even the Democrats voted to go into Iraq - and that situation would be touchy for any Democrat or Republican.

As far as here at home, the economy is booming, home ownership, especially among black is at an all time record high, and unemployment is at a record low. I'm not sure you could ask for much more.

I'm sorry but no I do not think Bush is doing a great job......call me stupid call me arrogant but do not call me naive.

You have some body that is not regarded as the sharpest knife in the drawer running the biggest, most economically viable country in the world... Now who actually makes the decisions for him?

I think big business, and the souls of the young men and women that go out to defend democracy are expendable in the eyes of big business i.e. Arms/munitions. textiles and any other suppliers that need a 'war' to fund their profits. To them I think that he is a doing a good Job. To the rest of America I would hope that he appears as he is, selling the good people of the West to oil and every other bit of Globalisation that still puts the Buck in the Rich( and I mean Super Rich) man's pocket. The economy may benefit from the short term gain of people being employed in the industries associated with War but the long term gain negligible.

Bush is a puppet controlled by the Oil Barons and big industry, what he has done for your Home Politics you have to decide

No, because if he change into doing a "large" job, the troops (or a minimum of maximum of them) does no longer nonetheless be in Iraq and at the same time as better human beings die universal. He needs to end what his dad all started-yet regrettably he sucks. i imagine he has spent maximum of his time in workplace on "vacation" in Texas. Even off the concern of Iraq, he has RUINED the education equipment that I artwork in universal. No baby Left in the back of is between the WORST acts for our destiny generations, so no longer in straight forward words is he f*ing up the prevailing despite the indisputable fact that the destiny besides.

Undoubtedly. Took the country from huge surplus to enormous deficit, waged an illegal war, committed (and still doing) genocide in Iraq, brought that country to Civil war, brought terrorism to Iraq (where none existed before he invaded), got almost the entire mideast to dislike US, etc, etc. If these are not great achievements, I do not what great achievements are.

  • 1 decade ago

    No, not at all--

    - run-away deficit

    - run-away illegal immigration, borders are not secure

    - allowed 9/11 to happen (he was warned about al-qaeda)

    - Katrina recovery was a mess and still is.

    - went into iraq on faulty intelligence. War is also uncontitutional (congress did not declare war)

    - no-win situation in Iraq-- hundreds of billions spent on the way to 1 Trillion

    - no solution on Israel- palestinian problem

    - constant attack and twisting of laws to erode our civil liberties

    - kidnapping and secret detention centers

    - outting of a cia agent

    - essentially no domestic policy

    - obsessed with low priority issues - gay marriage etc.

The only thing of note is the tax cuts to spur the economy.

    shall I continue?

  • 1 decade ago

No, starting an illegal war does not count as "great job"

    Bush is a fricking idiot.

  • 1 decade ago

NOPE. Because he just blinks when faced with distaster. How he behaved when Katrina came is an example.

    No. Iraq, Tax Cuts.
