The Riverworld series by Philip José Farmer, great series of books, unfortunately made into a TV series and completely changed from the original books, would make a wonderful film. The Dark Materials Chronicles by Philip Pullman, it is being made into a film, for release late 2007.
Yes I would love a Discworld movie, with a budget that it deserves, but as it is quite an English sense of humour, probably will never get the backing it deserves, cant wait to see David Jason as Albert...

Swan Song by Robert McCammeron
Lightning by Dean Koontz
Not the little short movies that are nothing like the book either. I am talking 5-6 hour movies with all the details of the novels. Like a mini series or something. A 2 hour movie would not do them justice.

Well when movies theaters go digital they should have a choose your own adventure book made into a movie. Then the audience could vote on the outcome of the movie. I would like to see The Camel Club by David Baldacci made into a movie. It's about a secret club that helps the secret service. The characters are awesome. It's not a choose your own adventure book but it will do.

The Night's Dawn Trilogy by Peter F. Hamilton. A huge blend of science fiction and horror which would require at least three epic films to tell the story.
