Help in finding the correct term?

I'm writing a fantasy series and in my book, there will be some people and one person especially that is a main character that has the appearance of an Arab (ps, they're not villains of the story) and since it's another world, I can't call them Arabs in order to describe them properly.

So is there a proper term to describe the skin color of someone from the Middle East? Using "light brown" or "dark" doesn't seem to be a good enough description. Does anyone know? I thought it was "olive-skinned" but I'm not too sure now.

Update:

"Bronze complexion"......I hadn't thought of that. That's good. I'll remember that for when the time comes. Thanks a bunch. I might use that.

"Olive-skinned" or "olive complexion" is a bit too light. (People from the Mediterranean coast are described as having an olive complexion.) I've always thought of people from the Middle East having a dark tan complexion or a bronze complexion. Of course, there are always variations within any given ethnicity, but I hope this helps to point you in the right direction. Good luck with your book!
