I'm recently married and into writing my fantasy series and my short film scripts. I love music of all kinds but country and rap. I'm a total Star Wars geek and also into sword fighting. Politics is a keen interest of mine and think dem and repubs suck, so I'm prettty much a Right Wing independent.

  • If your facebook account is disabled due to being hacked, would they re-enable it?

Yesterday while I was at work I found out that my account was hacked by someone trying to use my friends list to do the money scam. I got back on when I got home, changed my password and sent a message that my account was hacked and made sure no one sent any money. Later that day when I tried to log back in, I found out my account was disabled. I filled out the form on their site about the money scam and am just wondering if it's possible that they would re-enable for this or if I would have to just start a new profile.

  • Will people please STOP blaming referees for losing?

If you need to rely on a play or two from the officials to win your game, then you obviously didn't do your job. Anyone else sick of the excuses game?

  • Just wondering if anyone can do this?

Can anyone site for me an example of a news story where the other media outlets tell it one way and Fox news spins it another way? I hear a lot of people claiming that Fox news is a tool of the Bush administration, but I don't see much (or ANY) links or evidence to back that up.

    Anyone have any?

  • Any recommendations on Irish Whiskey?

I have a big Irish Catholic family in Chicago and the Christmas party is next week. For the party, I'd like to get a bottle of good Irish whiskey but I've never been a big whiskey drinker and I'm looking for some suggestions.

  • Honest question I have mainly for Jewish democrats.?

I've wondered in the past months why in America the Jewish community has been so strongly supporters of democrats when the democratic party has showed time and time again to be anti-israel. I'm not saying I think Jewish people should become Republicans for this single issue. But I have to wonder why such a vast majority of Jews support a party that is on the side of Palestinians who want to see the wiping out of Israel.

Is it a matter of not caring about Israel? Is it that the other opininions outweight this one? Are some just not aware of this? I just don't get it.

  • Technically speaking on the Royal Family...?

....how are they that much different than a family in the UK spending their whole lives living on welfare? Put them in a smaller home, cheaper clothes, more basic food, and you have another family living off the taxes of the people that actually have jobs. How's it that much different? What is it exactly I'm not getting?

  • Anyone else planning this with Twilight Princess?

I'm really excited to play this game, but I have a baby on the way now, so I know I won't be spending $250 on a new game console just so I could play the game right away. The gamecube version is coming out on December 13 anyway. So I'll buy that, get to play the game and wait for the price to come down some and for more games to be released that I want to play it on.

  • Help in finding the correct term?

I'm writing a fantasy series and in my book, there will be some people and one person especially that is a main character that has the appearance of an Arab (ps, they're not villains of the story) and since it's another world, I can't call them Arabs in order to describe them properly.

So is there a proper term to describe the skin color of someone from the Middle East? Using "light brown" or "dark" doesn't seem to be a good enough description. Does anyone know? I thought it was "olive-skinned" but I'm not too sure now.

  • Did the Republican party "steal" the 2006 election....?

or did they just forget how?

Seems odd to me that the party that apparently has the "know-how" and resources of stealing the elections in 2000 and 2004 were unable to do so this year. So which is it? Did they steal the elections in the past and "forget how" this year? Or is it possible they didn't steal anything to begin with?

  • Would you call this a racist statement?

Not going to say who it is (yet, anyway) but what do you think?

"No white trash, no blacks sucking your taxes and stealing your wallet, just intelligent people who realize immigration is the backbone of USA."

Kind of funny that in the same breath someone talks about white trash and support illegal immigration, they make a statement like that against black people, huh?

  • A question for European sports fans.?

Starting next season in the NFL, each of the teams will be playing a game across seas in Europe. Aside from the fact that it ticks me off that our favorite teams will all be losing a home game each season (as I think it's going to work), I have another thought.....

I thought Europeans didn't LIKE American football?? They prefer what we call soccer or rugby? Would there really be a market for NFL football in Europe?

  • Any other Conservatives sick of the Republican party today?

I believe in small government, low spending, which means lower taxes for us. I believe you keep the government small, then you keep America free. I believe in the right to practice my Christian faith without having to enforce it on others. Atheists and gay people may do things that make me cringe, but it's not my right to tell them how to live. I believe if people in another state have an issue facing their state, it should be up to them to vote and see what the majority want and the Supreme court shouldn't be able to butt in.

And I remember a day when this used to be what the Republican party stood for...

Today, the Republican party is for big government. Low taxes, but HIGH spending. Spending has gone up 33% since Clinton left office.

Yet sadly, I have no idea where to turn to on election day. I go in the booth, see the D and the R, know the Democrats are nothing like me, so I vote for the R again. Just because there's no other alternative.

Anyone else in this same boat??

  • Why do people think that Clinton was impeached for adultery?

That's not why he was impeached and you're pretty narrow-minded if you think that. Clinton wasn't impeached for oral sex in the oval office. He was impeached for the illegal activities he did trying to cover it up: lying on the stand, telling others to lie, hiding evidence, obstruction of justice. Just like Nixon, it wasn't the act that got him in trouble -- it was the cover up. To do something illegal to hide something that is, while immoral, not illegal is pretty dumb.

Comparing Clinton's impeachment in that way to wanting President Bush to be impeached (for something there's no credible evidence to support) is ridiculous.

Where did the idea come from that Clinton was impeached for his adultery?

  • A quote I really like.?

This was said by Craig Washington:

"I prefer a man who will burn the flag and then wrap himself in the Constitution to a man who will burn the Constitution and then wrap himself in the flag."

I think that really sums it up for me. Anyone else agree with this?

It might be a little sad that we have to go back this far, but I think our greatest president was Thomas Jefferson.

  • Do we have a deal?

Don't assume that just because some of us support the War in Iraq, that we like war. And we won't assume just because some of you support abortion, that you like dead babies.

    Can we agree on this?

Because I'm pretty sick of hearing both of these things.

  • If the insurgents are all Bush's fault...?

then why are the insurgents always putting Iraqi civilians in their targets, instead of just going after the troops like any "freedom fighter" would be doing?

  • Can we at least agree about this?

It gets pretty damn old seeing a puppet for the Democrats find a corrupt Republican and slam them for it. And it gets pretty damn old seeing a puppet for the Republicans for a corrupt Democrat and do the same thing.

NEWSFLASH people....the problem with US polics is not Democrats or Republicans. The problem is Democrats AND Republicans. For every fault you can find with one party another can be found with the other.

Democrats lack any kind of message or vision for America.

Republicans have a message and vision, but create bills that conflict with that vision.

The problem with the Republicans is not that their Republicans. The problem with the Democrats is not that their Democrats. The problem is that they're all politicians. And a politician cares more about getting power and holding onto it than doing something that could risk their power.....like utter a real opinion.

How many people can at least accept this?
