Avery label printing in word?
I am trying to print a page of Avery L7163 address labels (14 to a page) - Each label is to have a different address.
How can I save a page of addresses (preferably in Word), so I can use it again next Christmas?
Boo hoo! I have Publisher, but it seems to want to print 14 of the same address.
And in Word it asks if you want to print 1 page of the same, or which row/column you want to print in - L7163 paper is 7 rows, 2 columns = 14 labels.
At the moment I am in Word, printing one at a time, and feeding the same sheet through each time with no save!
I know I am being dumb!
Thanks to everyone, and especially MAGGIE!
I HAVE DONE IT - Yippee!

have been doing the same this morning. Go onto word. into tools, into envelopes & labels, click labels, select the size and make of label then click on new. Then type all your addresses and save as xmas addresses on your doc.. You can then call up this file, select file.print. put your sheets of labels in printer and hey presto.

As Helen C says above, just a normal save. The only difference is, I think you can only save one page of labels, not as multiple pages. i.e. you have to create and save 14 labels at a time!
Why not change to 24 labels per sheet??

you should get the save icon as with a regular document - the labels page is only a Word page with a table on it. If you dont have the save icon on your toolbar, click File and then click save
