How can I Install Internet Explorer 5.5 on Windows XP?
I need to test a Website on different versions of IE and I am not sure if it possible to install IE 5.5 on WIN XP, References will be very helpful to verify my point of View

Windows XP comes with internet explorer 6. It is surely possible to upgrade the IE version but I am not sure if its possible to downgrade it as in this case.
In any case, if you try to install it, you might get a number of warning indicating that you present version is newer than the one you will be installing.
You have to bypass these warnings and install IE 5.5 over it.
If you ask me, IE6 is better than IE 5.5, though the latter is a little faster.

All you have to do is go to google search and type in Install Internet explorer to windows xp. I did it and if I can do it a donkey can.

No you can not,,, winxp has IE6 integrated into it and can not be uninstalled,,,,and IE5.5 does not work on winxp
