Why is Interview important?

I'd say an interview is a must! It helps the employer see what type of person the interviewee is and whether or not this person would be an asset to his company.

The only disadvantage I can think of is in the case of the person being interviewed. Interviews are nerve recking stuff and can be a serious worry to the person seeking a job.

Interviews can be stressful for those seeking employment. Most interviewers are not sadists, they try to make it as comfortable as possible. The interview will show employers how much preparation the applicant has taken, such as how much they bothered to learn about the company before the meeting. During the interview the employer can see how well the applicant can think quickly; do they get rattled under the pressure of wanting to do well.

Most jobs have some exposure to the public. The employer wants to see how well the applicant can present themselves as a potential example of the company.

Bottom-line, it's the first opportunity a prospective employer has to see if you are the person you claim to be on paper.

Up until that face-to-face contact, you're nothing more than a piece of paper and/or electronic paper trail. I don't really know if you can speak, write, or actually have what it takes to be successful at my company and in that position.

So the interview is my first opportunity to gauge firsthand these things. Plus, it helps me see whether you're "professional" in appearance and will fit in with company personnel and our customers.

And that's why it's imperative that you make a good impression during an interview, because you won't get a second chance!

i'd like to say an interview depend on the person thinkig ,if he want accept or not he must keep quit,and relax.

he will add something to the new company or not
