Do you believe one spouse can be raped by another spouse?
Someone I know has claimed she was raped by her husband recently. She ran out of the house to her daughters who called the police and her husband is sitting in County Lockup.
Is this possible for a husband to rape a wife and what are you're thoughts?

Yes. It's called marital rape. Married or not, no one has the right to force themselves on the other. And yes, there are cases of men being raped by women.

Rape is rape, regardless of the relationship between the rapist and the victim. It can be a total stranger; someone you recognize by sight, but have never really communicated with; someone you know superficially, a neighbor or a colleague; a friend, a boy-friend or a former boyfriend; a live-in partner, or a former partner; someone you are married to or have been married to in the past.
Marital rape is generally sub-divided into three categories: those rapes which involve a degree of violence. Examples would include the husband punching his wife or injuring her with a knife - the rape being part of a violent assault. 'force-only' rapes, include only enough force used on the part of the abuser to control or hold his wife in position, eg holding down the victim by her arms or wrists to prevent her defending herself or escaping. Sadistic rapes his tends to indicate that in addition to the rape itself, the victim is either forced to comply with or undergo deeds designed to further humiliate her. Examples of this would be the abuser/rapist urinating on the victim, acting out a fantasy of torturer, or using other object during a rape.

Yes, a rape by a spouse or not is still a rape, "no means no", and another thing, believe it or not, even prostitutes can get raped. When a woman says no, then its no, no matter what and if you "take it" without consent, its rape. That dirtbag needs to stay in lockup and maybe bubba can "take it".

Rape is having or attempting to have sexual intercourse with someone without their consent. (Simple explanation).
Therefore it follows that it is possible for a man to rape a woman irrespective of the marriage certificate.
It also follows that it is also possible for a man to rape his daughter, his sibling, his mother, his grandmother, his cousin, his son, father, nephew etc... including an ANIMAL.
The best place for your friend's husband is the County Lockup, I hope, if the allegations are proved, that he rots there. He does not own his wife.

Of course one spouse can rape the other. Just because your married doesn't change the fact that rape is still rape. No is still no, and continuing without consent is still rape. I think anyone who rapes a person, no matter if married or not, is despicable and deserves to be castrated and executed.

Of course it's possible. Why wouldn't it be possible?
Rape is a sexual act forced upon another person.
Being married does not give a man license to use his wife's body as a receptacle.

yes, a woman can be rape by her husband when a woman say no to sex for any reason that should be respect if the husband makes her have sex with him and she don't want 2 , that its call rape no matter if they are marry they should respect each other equal.

Yes anytime somebody forces another person to have sex against their will, then it is rape.
If it were true that you could not be raped by your spouse because you are married, then wouldn't be true that if you had sex with someone you are not married to that you had been raped?
Anytime the sex is not consensual, then it is rape.

of course it it dumba%#!
I was on a jury once where the wife went to the hospital after being raped by her husband. She did not want to press charges, but the district attorney did anyway and he was convicted.
It was not pretty and it was not fun.. and I cannot believe you would even have to ask.
Being married does not mean that you have no control over your body or that you give away your free will? What are you a caveman?

Yes. If one spouse does not want to have sex and the other spouse forces them to I would call that rape.(because that is rape) It doesn't matter if you have had sex before or you started kissing and then decided to stop. If it is against your will than it is wrong.
