Who supposed to buy the wedding bands?

My boyfriend (fiance) bought me the engagement ring. From my understanding, traditionally I am supposed to buy him his wedding band right? Do I also buy my own wedding band or is he supposed to?

classic engagement ring etiquette dictates that the groom buys the engagement ring and the bride's wedding ceremony band, and the bride buys the groom's wedding ceremony band. An exception to this could needless to say be if the groom is going to apply an heirloom ring for his wedding ceremony band. for many couples right this moment, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, the two bride and groom make a contribution to all of the marriage costs, such because of the fact the jewellery.

Well now a days....there is no more tradition left? did you sleep with him already? At that point traditions are pretty much out the door. It's this new Society you know.

I mean do you want to buy him a wedding band? You love him don't you? you want to give him a special gift. I think it would be cool for you to buy your man a wedding band that comes from your heart.

Traditionally, the girl buys her husband to be and the husband to be buys the girl's wedding band.

You buy his, he buys yours...of course, these days, I know plenty of couples where they are BOTH paying for the engagement ring because they are so ridiculously overpriced. People don't seem to realize that the size of the diamond does not equal the amount of love that you feel for each other. Even Wal-Mart sells decent engagement rings for under $500!

usually when your at this point in your life and your going to get married, you both are sharing expenses and so his money is yours and vise versa.... so you both buy both the rings, there is no more, do I buy or you buy thing. Its BOTH of yours now.... So you both are buying the rings as a couple. GOOD LUCK

You should buy each others' bands...most couples will go together to pick them out and just pay for them together.

He is supposed to buy yours and you buy his. I am using this website to figure out who pays for what at my wedding in April. http://ourmarriage.com/html/who_pays_for_what.html

I bought my husband's. I chose to not wear one (just engagement ring instead).
