Non-Canadians: If you were to generalize, how would you characterize the average Canadian?

Clean, genial, polite, intelligent and well taken care of by their government.

They are basically the same as us Americans, but they have different political views and some Canadians are very rude to Americans, especially on Yahoo Answers. I've seen lot's of anti American stuff from Canadians on here. I've seen some of them say that the US is dirty, and they call Americans fat, they bash the government, and call us dumb. I bet most of them are the one's from Quebec who can speak/type english. The french people in Quebec are rude. I have a friend who lives in Toronto, Canada and she tells me that lot's of English speaking Canadians don't like Quebec.

Other than the rare Anti American, Canadian and the french ones, most Canadians are very friendly and nice.

I see lot's of cars from Canada (mostly Ontario) on I-95 and the I-77 South. I guess it's the ones going to Florida lol!

Being an Aussie I find Canadians a pretty cool bunch.We share a lot of history ie the pioneering start of our countries etc.You guys like to party...so do we.Maple Leaf Forever with a Canadian Club Twist!

The Canadians are good people ( except maybe the Quebecois I had some problems with the French mind set and attitude ), and I wish the rest of Canada, along with Europe would get over the anti- Americanism.

french canadians are rude and nasty

english/scottish canadians are normal likeable people EXCEPT I've heard that almost all canadians don't like african americans. Pretty freaky for our "friendly" neighbors to the north, right?

Friendly, for the most part. People in Quebec tend to be less personable, or maybe it was just the people we met. Most of Canadians are great! I would love to live there someday.

I haven't been to Canada but I have always felt Canadians to be our friends.

I have a sister-in-law and a nephew from Canada. Both live in the US. She is a scientist and very intelligent and assertive. My nephew is just starting a family and I love him dearly.

I have great respect for your country.

I think they're great, peace loving and always understated.

Family people

I just like them. Not so fat as their southern neighbors, great hosts when I was visiting. Quebec is beautiful, and so are its women.
