I really want to lose weight (in 17 Days!) before I visit my family for Christmas!?

I want to lose about 10-15lbs in 17 days. And overall, lose inches so I don't look as big. I want to lose as much as I can in that amount of time so I will look good when I go visit Family for Christmas. Suggestions? Or maybe even safe, quick, effective diet pills. (I'm 14.) Thanks!

    I can't tell you how unsafe diet pills and losing the amount of weight you're wanting to in 17 days is. I suggest you work out, drink plenty of water, eat veggies & fruit, add some protein, drink your milk, and watch your sodium. This will help but you will not drop that much before then without starving yourself. Starvation weakens the heart.

    17 days is not long enough to lose 10-15lbs healthfully. About 2lbs a week is a healthy and maintainable weightloss.

    Still, you can do the best you can. Eat 5 small meals a day. Lean protein in each meal. Complex carbs. No sugar! Drink at least 8 glasses of water everyday. And of course exercise (cardio and weight training).

    You may noy get the 15lbs you want by Christmas, but this is a good start.

    I don't know if you can lose that much weight but if you do a low carb diet like atkins you can drop a lot of water weight relatively quickly. But know that this is not a long term solution, you will gain this weight back quickly if you waiver the least bit from your diet. For a long term diet use a low fat diet and watch overall sugar intake. Everything in moderation. And of course exercise like running, biking, swiming, and light weights helps shed those pounds.

    South Beach Diet. Cutting out the bad carbs, and drinking alot of water +/or caffeine free beverages for the next two weeks and you'll see major difference. Fidget alot it'll help burn calories. If you can try to go for walks or do some toning exercises throughout your day. Do butt squeezes while sitting in class, do some squats while blowing drying your hair, calf raises while brushing your teeth, suck in your stomach and hold for a count of ten throughout the day. It may not sound like much but every little bit will make a difference!
