Which city in the US is the best?

I think Texas or California will be great. Due history and development as well. But do not like you to miss the washington due to it's strtegic position and white house also.

Washington DC is pretty cool as far as big cities go. I'd encourage you to get out on the road and into some of the small cities and towns though. Urban and rural places (and urban and rural people) in the U.S. are very different. Take a historic highway like U.S. 6, the Lincoln Highway (U.S. 30), or the National Road (U.S. 40) and you'll get to see lots of interesting and authentic places and meet lots of interesting people.

Washington, DC is not only beautiful but it's a very eclectic city too. There are so many diverse types of people there, it's a great place to meet people.

Well I live in Jackson County Mississippi, I think you should try the big city like New York and such, but it really depends on what kind of atmosphere you want to be in. Its said that MS has the friendlist people.
