Hybiscus Plant?

I bought a hybiscus plant this summer and had it outside the whole time. The thing is, is I didn't bring it in in time before the first frost. The leaves and all turned brown and died. We then got snow the next day and all and didn't get covered. My question is, is will it come back this spring or will I have to buy another one?

It may still be ok. Hibiscus are pretty hardy. Don't cut back just yet. Wait until spring to see just how much damage was done by the cold. If you cut back too early you may be cutting live wood. Wait and see just how much new growth develops and cut off the dead wood above the new bud growth. If there is enough live wood you'll be in luck and the plant will flower as usual.

Thinking or hoping that you have at this point brought it in, you may still be able to save it. As said in another post, cut it way back, it will be as if your starting over. Hybiscus are very durable and thrive more than people give them credit for. I have intentionally tried to kill one that was planted in the ground and resided next to my house, only cause it was in a bad location. To my surprise, since I was not able to remove all of the root system, it grew back, even after a nice froozen winter.

you'll probably discover that its only not time for them to flower. If the flora look healthful, and are remodeling into properly only provide them a even as. flora strengthen and flower in cycles, they don't flower each and each and every of the time. provide them a liquid fertiliser it truly is extreme in potassium, fortnightly for the duration of spring or maybe as its time they ought to flower ok providing all their different cultural desires are being cared for, case in element good lighting fixtures.
