Why are there suddenly a lot of questions about indie films?
Why are there so many questions about making indie films recently? I mean lately I've been seeing one or two questions about how to make indie films or something like that everyday. Is there some kind of huge film festival that I'm missing or something?

It is probably mostly because it is almost Christmas, a time where a lot of people purchase camcorders. A lot of people in the world today want to be filmmakers, because of camcorders' prices.
Since Christmas is just right around the corner, people want camcorders, and thus become interested in filmmaking. Filmmaking is not just buying a little camera and going around and filming things. It is a lot more than that.
Also, please post your question in a more relavent section. This section is supposed to be for the CAMCORDER products, not filmmaking.
