the girl traditionally buys they guy's ring and the guy buys the girl's ring, but my husband and I went out shopping together and tried on different ones and then purchased what we liked together. It was easier that way so I didn't get him one that he dind't really like (like a gold ring with diamonds) and he didnt' get me one that I didn't really like (like a plina sterling silver). He ended up getting Titanium (it's the new platinum, in a sense that it looks really manly and is requested a lot now a days) because it's light, looks nice, doesn't scratch easily (well you can't really see the scratches like you can on yello and white gold) and it was very inexpensive ($106) it came with a lifetime warranty and re-dipping every 6 months to cover up any scratches and it's can't get bent. once they size it, it can be resized so you never have to pay for adjustments and things like that if for some reason the ring was bent by a car door slamming on his hand. my ring on the other hand was $300 with a lifetime warranty and free repair, but not engraving. I chose a ring that matched my engagement ring and had diamonds in it which is why it was more expensive.

if you're talking about the engraving inside of the ring, then no you don't have to make up something to say. some people opt for the wedding date or new last name or I love you. my husband and i engraved each secretly and then the person who married us told us and all the guests at the wedding what was inside of them. his say MLMLML. it's our initials (Mike and Lily) and it stands for My Light, My Love, My Life. My rng says U R My Star. It's the name of our song.

If you're talking about the ceremony and vows, you can chose to write your own or the officiant will have some you can pick from. You can also take pre-written vows and change them a little bit. That's what we did. We also added a symbolic rose and water needing eachother in it too.

our ceremony took 30min. That included seating people, walking down the isle and doing the vows and last announcment. The vow portion took 5min! It was so short that people stood the whole time. Our reception..4 hours or so. OUr wedding started at 6:00pm and ended at midnight. The pitures took the longest and people also stood around and chatted before going to the reception and the family had to stay extra for the pictures. have fun and good luck

You buy your groom's wedding band.

You can write your own vows or use the ones the church provides.

Weddings do not last very long at all. Usually the actual ceremony lasts about 20-30 minutes. I'm Catholic and we may have mass after our wedding, which would add about an hour to the time. Receptions usually last hours, probably 4 or so depending what time of day the wedding is.

You will buy your groom to be a wedding band.

Sometimes couples make up their own vows; most use the ones the church provides. You should speak at the reception, however, saying thank yous.

The length of the ceremony varies on the denomination of the service and what is included - from a half hour to an hour, probably.

With your first question, are you asking whether the guy has a ring as well as the girl? Well, that's up to you. You have to discuss it with him, whether he would like to wear a wedding ring or not. If he does, then you go and choose it together (like you do with the girl's ring). It isn't compulsory for a guy; it's a matter of personal preference.

i go with more advantageous of a backyard style wedding ceremony... like at an fairly nice southern plantation, have the marriage cerimony interior the interior mid-day, with the reception outdoors interior the nighttime even as it cools down. i go with chinese (or is it eastern?) lantern-esque lighting fixtures with yellow roses and accents of orange with the significant colour being white. in elementary words some human beings from both component to the kinfolk (like 15-25 each and each and every). and the foodstuff will be set up like an stylish buffet. thats all i have been given so a techniques, yet i imagine this is going to likely be the suited wedding ceremony for me (if my destiny husband likes it too).
