How to replace passenger side mirror for a 2000 VW Golf?
Someone took out my wife's car's (2000 VW Golf) passenger side mirror in the parking lot when she was away. I want to replace it for her so she won't get rip off by the dearship. Can someone give me step by step directions on how to replace it (assuming I can get the parts)? If any panel needs to be removed, I need to know where the screws are and everything. If you can provide a website with specific instructions, that would even be better. 10 points for most useful answer.

ignore it. You suggested oil leaks from both valve cover gaskets, so it is the V6, not the Vr6. And the V6 can be a very expensive engine to artwork on. It has 4 camshafts. It has no keys on the timing belt sprockets, so is amazingly complicated to regulate the timing belt. sellers fee over 1000 to do the timing belt in this. And that is probably previous due already. Get some cost costs on the timing belt. and make confident you tell them it has 2 heads, and is the V6. The V6 got here also with the 4motion all wheel stress, that must be expensive. If it replaced into the 4 cylinder or the Vr6, then i ought to assert certain. although the V6 costs 4 situations as a lot to maintain. It does have three hundred hp although. A Jetta or golf is even safer, because the pricy engine replaced into not put in them. Jettas and golf are continuously a lot less expensive to maintain, regardless of a similar engine.
