ask your doctor to refer you to your community health centre for a skin specialist appointment should not be left for a month should be attended to soon if he/she will not do it go to another doctor or a free cancer clinic if you live in australia they will get you in really quick and look over all your body and do what has to be done on the spot well that is in australia anyway in the meantime do not use soap see your chemist for what they recommend for you to wash your face with im sure they will help you. hope this helps you.

shingles? they develop on the face or trunk of the body and are painful not so much at first but as the days go by become almost unbearable sometimes feels a little bit like a burning sensation. Go to your primary care physician and get an inital diagnosis and things to do to alliviate the pain until you can see the derm. Try warm compresses and tylenol for the pain

It sounds like Keratosis Pilaris.
Does it look like this: http://z.about.com/d/p/440/e/f/1920.jpg
There are several versions of Keratosis Pilaris, and one of them does include not red bumps, but skin colored ones.
I am sorry, there is no cure, and no proven treatments. It is a very common skin disease. It is heraditery, and I have it too!! You are not alone!!
