Mis-diagnosis?
I had non-consensual sex about five years ago and I catght some kind of infection from the guy. I went to see a doctor who told me it wasn't chlamydia and gave me some antibiotics and the syptoms went away. I am now married and have had two miscarriages. A home-test for chlamydia came back positive. What is going on? Have I had this for five years and did it cause my miscarriages?
My husband is not cheating on me. Not a helpful answer really!

It could possibly have been a misdiagnosis. Doctors are usually right, but like everyone, they aren't perfect. You may also have to consider your other half's sexual encounters before. Also you may have caught it off someone else yourself. Also, home-tests are far less reliable than doctors.

Chlamydia is a naturally occuring bacteria that can be carried by both parties involved. Did the doctor do a swab of your vagina to find out if you were in fact infected? Go to www.webmd.com and look up chlamydia for more info.
Good luck!

Maybe the meds he gave you just put it in remission or maybe you got it off a toilet seat.
It may also be possible that your husband has had it all this time and gave it back to you.
Both of you should get treated so you don't pass back and forth.
Ive never herd of this causing M/C's. webmd.com would be a great place to ask this ?
Unfortunately M/C happen far to often!
Good luck Hun
