Why is it that so many foolish creationists try to prove evolution wrong without understanding it???
SOOOOO many idiots out there are so positive that evolution is wrong, yet they don't even know anything about evolution!
Who else is sick of their pathetic attempts at disproving evolution?
Nine times out of ten, the "questions" about evolution are from idiots who think they can prove it wrong, but know nothing about it...
They have no idea what they're talking about, but they are soo sure of themselves.
Message to all the fools I'm speaking of: Do some RESEARCH!
The word theory, in the context of science, does not imply uncertainty. It means a coherent group of general propositions used as principles of explanation for a class of phenomena.
Furthermore, if "only a theory" were a real objection, creationists would also be issuing disclaimers complaining about the theory of gravity, atomic theory, the germ theory of disease, and the theory of limits (on which calculus is based). The theory of evolution is no less valid than any of these. Even the theory of gravity still receives serious challenges. Yet the phenomenon of gravity, like evolution, is still a fact.
If Jemhasb allowed Email, I would have told him how poorly he understands evolution.
He knocks down straw man after straw man, it's pathetic...
It's sooo typical of creationists to knock down straw men... That's ALL they do...(all they can do, because there are no holes in evolution.) They can make holes in all the straw men they want to, but it doesn't change the status of the Theory of Evolution.
There has never been a legitimate scientific argument against evolution... They are all straw men.

It's ludicrous. They've created a version of 'evolution' that is so far off base from scientific understanding that of course it makes no sense. The straw man that they knock down doesn't have anything to do with actual theories of evolution. So of course it doesn't stand up to scrutiny.
Can you image their outrage and hostility if you or I started misrepresenting their viewpoints that badly? Some of them are so far off that we've have to say something like God is actually Satan in disguise to equal them in inaccuracy.
Source(s): Lexie claims to understand evolution 'perfectly.' Quite a feat -- better than even the leading scientists. Sweetie, if you think that, you're just proving that you don't actually understand what you're talking about. - 1 decade ago
One doesn't have to prove Evolution wrong; let Creation speak for itself. There's so much to show how stuff was created and its purpose. When a person's looking for counterfeit money they have the real thing and ANYTHING that does not meet that criteria is a signal that's it's counterfeit, Why spend time thinking or brainstorming the INIFINITE counterfeit patterns. Stick with the Original then compare.

The more one attempts to understand Evolution; the more the points for Creation. How can a BumbleBee fly? According to most scientists, the thing is NOT aerodynamically correct to fly. But it does.
How did the Honeybees know to build their hives in the hexagon shape so that it will hold the honey? How did the honeybee know to flap their wings so that it will keep the hive cool?

I have researched and studied evolution extensively, and I understand it perfectly. I am also intelligent enough to question many facets of the theory, and so far, there haven't been any adequate explanations to those questions. On the other hand, creation science has answered most all my questions, and I am still researching answers to any remaining questions. The only "idiots" and "fools" there are are those who aren't willing to objectively research both sides of the debate, because unless you do that, you are not getting all the facts, and are,in fact, being indoctrinated. So,I say to you,get off your high horse and do some legitimate research of your own instead of blindly believing everything you've been told in the classroom. And don't just research the net. Read a few books, for goodness sake. If you really want to learn a few truths, read Icons of Evolution : Science or Myth by Jonathan Wells.

True, there is more evidence to support evolution than there is evidence to support the notion that the earth round and not flat. However, it is also evolution that has given us the "god" gene, which makes humans want to believe in a higher power. This tendency toward faith and belief in a god has an evolutionary purpose. People live longer and get sick less if they have some sort of religious belief system.

"The fool has said in his heart 'there is no God". Don't prove yourself to be a fool.
To say creationists are idiots for not believing a theory with so many holes in it, it could be used as a fishing net, is being an idiot.
Natural selection does occure but this is ONLY WITHIN SPECIES. EVERY ie all WITHOUT EXCEPTION, mutation is deliterious to the species. What mutations do we have today in the human species? Things like Neurofibromotosis (NF), this is the most common mutation that occures in humans today. Guess what? I have it and wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy!
Let's consider Chromosome number. A mutation occures rersulting in a new number of chromosomes, and for the sake of evoloution let's assuyme it was a 'good' mutation. The creature produced MUST find another creature with the SAME number of chromosomes to produce an offspring that can reproduce. If the occurance of this mutation is 1/40 000 (as with NF), the chances of mating with another mutation is 1/1 600 000 000. As with most species, male off spring are chased off so inbreeding cannot occure, the chance of a third generation becomes this number squared - 1/2 560 000 000 000 000 000.
We HAVE done our research. Most of us know what we are talking about. The numbers do not add up. You can have faith in some blind chance. I'll put my faith in a loving God.
Faith is an essential ingredient in both. One bows at the alter of science and eronious theories. The other at the alter of a Great Designer.

Yes, they insist that evolution shouldn't be in the public schools, then they bombard us with "questions" about it.
It's because it challenges the fundamentalist faith. And they take that faith pretty seriously, but they know that they won't win through a direct strategy. So they mask their agenda in a thin facade of science.
It's religion vs science, but they don't like to call it that, so they pretend it's science a vs. science b.

Ignorance is the only reason I can think of. Evolution is now a proven fact.

If this question evolved from other questions, why are the old questions still around? I bet you can't answer that! After all, a question can't just spontaneously appear, right? Someone has to ask it.

Most religions teach that to question that belief, or to even entertain anything that is contradictory to your religious teachings is blasphemy.
For most religious people, to even research evolution could literally result in "hell to pay".

Yes, evolution makes much more sense than creating a human out of clay and making it breathe in three seconds. Yeah, that happend. (NOT!!!)
Great question, with facts to back it up... here's a thumbs-up for you.
