Do Bose Noise-reducing Headphones block out people's voices?
I've heard great things about these headphones, that they block out airplane engines and such. I live in a dorm and it is very noisy when I'm trying to study. I would really like to just block their voices. Is this possible with these headphones. Any one have a pair?

OK the Bose QC 3 headphones have a battery that reduces the sound they muffle the sound it makes the noise quieter but not really cancels it but when you play music you hear the music only unless some crazy hi pitched voiced person screams your name

I have a pair and I can say, yes. I sit and watch my child in gymnastics while I play my portable movie player. Around me are young mothers and babies. Sometimes I have to turn up the volume, but for the most part they are tuned out. Best.
