Green Lantern: lamest super hero(es) ever?

First of all it's NOT a weakness anymore. Now the only thing a GL has to do is overcome the fear of this fact. In other words it's mind over matter. The power ring is one of the most powerful weapons in the DCU because you are using will power to make it work.

Green Lantern can do pretty much anything with his ring. Create any kind of object out of energy, force fields, fly through space, etc. Next to Superman, GL is the second most powerful member of the Justice League.

His only real limitation is his own willpower.

if your only drawing from super heroes then there are some things that aren't fair... bruce wayne and wonder women don't really have any powers, but they have amazing skills to be able to use thier junk to fight crime and not get killed. Now if your talking true super powers , then i would ahve to say jubillee of the xmen sucks a phatty. she can make little fireworks... Atleast the wonder twins could change shape. Aquaman wasn't that bad. he could breathe underwater and telepathically talk to and control animals and fish of the sea. Thats like being King Tritan and then some.

If you're powerless over yellow, wouldn't you haul around a can of spray paint?

Or, let's say you have a yellow bad guy after you and you need to knock him down. He just shoots him with the ring and says "damn, he's yellow." Whip up a big fan and blow him over. Wind works on everything.
