Cook pizza thawed instead of frozen. Time and temp changes?
I have a Freschetta Naturally Rising "Bake to Rise crust" Pizza that says keep frozen and cook before eating. I got busy and it thawed out, but I'm going to cook it now (and don't try to talk me out of it).
It's a "special deluxe pizza". I've never cooked this brand or flavor before.
Directions are to preheat to 375, place on cookie sheet on center rack, and bake for 30-34 minutes.
It also says until cheese is melted and edges are golden brown.
So, as usual, I cut it in 1/2 and then that in to 1/4's.
The baking sheet (Heavy Duty Foil) is on the center (only rack) of the toaster oven - which has been pre-heating at 500 while I typed this.
How long should I cook this and at what temperature?
I have cooked a lot of other pizza's this way including Digorno's and other rising ones. They weren't thawed however.
I'm going to pick a temperature now, throw it in, and see how it goes. I'll update the details with the final time and the closest one gets a best answer.

I started it at 350 & cooked for 4 minutes then I changed it to 375
Apparently, I have to wait 4 hours to choose a best answer. (:

I peeked at 14 minutes.
I originally had tried to set the timer on the range to 15 minutes, but went one past it, and didn't want to start over at 59 again.
It actually took twenty minutes.
It was looking good at 15, but it took forever (A.K.A. 20 minutes) to get the raised crust golden brown.
scrappykins gave me a great start on the temp, and I found the pizza info (550 degrees for 8 minutes!) interesting.
It was a close one, and you were both great.

I'd just bake at 375F until golden brown around the edges and melted in the center... Give it 15 minutes till you peak in the oven.

the reason it saws do not thaw is because as the ice on the frozen pizza melts it makes the pizza soggyish and its not quite as good....when it thaws while cooking the heat from the oven makes it evcaporate to it doesnt get soggy.....you can refreeze it and use it when you are ready...its perfectly fine it just doesnt tasre as good if you cook it when its already thawed cause as much of the water wont evap...but since you are going to put it in th oven once its frozen again you are good

I would cook it at 375 until golden brown, it will probably take 10 to 15 minutes. At work we cook our pizzas at 550 degrees and they take about 8 minutes to cook.
