how are noodles eaten with chopsticks?

I like noodles, especially Ramen and Udon, but I can't seem to find a comfortable way to eat them with chopsticks. When I wind them around the chopsticks, they tend to escape. Even if I succeed in winding them, the action quickly tires my hand, and it doesn't seem like the correct method.

When you order a bowl of soulpwith noodles, it usually comes with a soup spoon. Believe it or not, the spoon isn't just for drinking the soup. It's also meant to assist you with the noodles.

Hold the spoon in your left hand as you lift a small bunch of noodles with your chopsticks. It's important that the bunch of noodles not be too big, or the noodles will slip out of your chopsticks, splashing soup all over that nice new shirt. Raise the chopsticks and noodles up so that the ends of the noodles come out of the soup (this usually means raising the noodles up to about eye level on me). Scoop the ends of the noodles up with the spoon, then gently lower the noodles the rest of the way onto the spoon. There, now you have a nice mouthful of noodles and no soup on your shirt! It may seem a little labor intensive, but once you get the hang of it, it works a lot faster and neater than just grabbing and slurping.

You use the chopsticks more like tongs, picking up several strands of noodles and placing them in your mouth, biting off whatever's hanging out. That's how I do it, anyway.

I'm sure the more you do it the less tired your hand will get.I myself grip them both like pencils.one between thumb & ist finger. Next between second & third finger. It takes some getting use to it.
