I have the flu?

Things to do to help flu?

I have the flu, and1 know some things that will make me feel better?? My temp hasn't been normal since noon...it is 104.3 right now...

It hasn't gotten below 102.1 in three hours...

I went an urgent care center this morning and tested negative for the flu but the test is only 80% accurate and the doctor said that I probably still had the flu...he could've prescribed Tamiflu(sp?) but sometimes that causes people to be delirious.

Update:

bathing in rubbing alcohol would make me worse--NOT better!

    You should stay in bed and drink lots of fluids that will help, and to take a nice warm bath to help you breathe a lot better. Also a nice cough medicine should do the trick. Halls are good cough drops!!

    If your fever remains high, rub your body down (or bathe in) rubbing alcohol. It evaporates a low temperature, drawing heat away from your body, helping it to cool. Also, you may not have the flu. 90% of the time when people have flu-like symptoms, it's generally food poisoning. As ever one else said, drink alot of fluids, particularly water, to keep yourself hydrated due to a fever. Get alot of rest, so your body can better recuperate and direct it's energy on getting you better rather than something else, and lastly Vitamin C (it's like giving your immune system missiles and bombs to fight off the virus)

    go to the drug store to get a drug for the flu

    stay in bed..drink a lot of water..or gatorade..or 7up..only eat plane bread or crackers..or jello..and stay in bed..get a lot of rest
