Well your post alone turns me off "I want to change my character to be more likable". If you are trying to pretend to be something you are not, or change your lifestyle, or your character just so more people will like you, then you are dealing with a self esteem issue more than anything else. I know that sounds harsh, but there is someone out there for everyone, and it's finding that person that is all a part of the relationship journey. You can't pretend to be funny, pretend to be good looking, or pretend to be a regular or nice guy if you are not really any of those things. You can get in shape to look good, get your hair done, and other things to change your physical apperance, but if you are still a jerk on the inside, then you will always be a jerk, even if you look good on the outside. I'm not saying that people can't change, what I am saying instead is that people have to want to change for themselves, and not for the sake of other people, for the sake of becoming more likable, or for any other reason.

Now, to answer your question.

Loyalty and honesty, those come first in my book.

Intelligence is important, especially in a world where what you know can make or break you.

A sense of humor is important, but not neccessary.

Money doesn't mean a thing.

Good looks don't mean a thing, it's what's on the inside that counts.

Being "regular" isn't all it's cracked up to be, because the definition of "normal" in our society is becoming more and more twisted each and every year.

So be yourself, and if people don't like you, then you are hanging out with the wrong people. Don't try to be something you are not, or do things that you don't like to do just to become more likable. Instead, find people who share your interests, or who like the person you are today, and not the person you could be if you were to change just for other people.

Guys who can be themselves. No one like someone to pretend to be someone who he is not. You dont need to change your char to be likeable, you need to find someone who likes you for who you are. A sense of humour is always valuable and like the regular nice guy with a nice smile and twinkle in his eye who likes to have fun. The other stuff is not as important but he should have a goal to at least work and not use people to get what he wants.

Regular nice guys who don't have to show off are the best b/c it's very sexy when a man just be's himself. I hate very goodlooking guys who walk around like they are God's gift to the earth and have even turned down a few for dates b/c of their cockiness. well, i think a sense of humor is the best thing, then smartness(a guy who loves to show his smarts, but not coming off too smart like a nerd, is very sexy), good looking, then rich guys...well that is for ur answer but it really depends on wat u r looking for...if u r funloving, you want a humorous spontaneous guy, if u r a sweet shy type of person, you want a person laid back and a total romantic, if u r both kinds and want an intellectual side, smartness and intectaullity is the key ....but the most important thing that turns me on is honesty, but if ur too honest, that is not good.
