What is the lowest fare from eastern US to Paris in july 2007?
Every search I do right now shows a roundtrip of $1000 or more, I need it to be $600 or less. Is that realistic?

You are picking the busiest time of the year to buy your tickets. It will be expensive. I buy my girl friend's tickets to Frankfurt in February and the ticket price w/taxes round trip is only $450. In Late August it was $650. In the summer, I use my mileage because the cost is around $1000.
Direct flights to Europe will be around $850-950, add in any flight you have to make in the USA to that flight and you are looking at $1000. Getting tickets to Europe for less that $900 will be very difficult to impossible in July.
