I’m needing opinions on what would be the best target scope for an Armilite AR-50.?

I’ve read reviews on the Bushnell Elite 4200 6X24X40 that look really good. If this scope will be okay I can save a lot of money. Other scopes I’ve checked out are the Leupolds and Night Force. They are really great scopes but very expensive.

Update:

" In my humble opinion " LOL....What a jerk. I bet were related :-)

    Stick to the Leupolds,Nightforce etc..

The Bushnell elite maybe great scope but will it hold up to the beating the.50 cal is going to give it? I've tried other scopes as well for my shooting but I always come back to Leupolds for myself. The sight pictures seem better then most of the othersmaybe not all but most. They have a great range of elevation available in the LR models. I believe the Nightforce has 100 MOA available for elevation. If your shooting long range you will need the adjustments. I assume that you already know this considering the rifle chosen though. Also make sure you buy a good set of rings and bases for the scope your using. To many people spend big money on a scope and then trust it to $25 rings and bases.Good luck

I didn't realize it, but Scooter is probably right. I think it is safe to assume that the 50 cal is going to jar your rifle. Leupolds are the toughest scopes around.

Plus, you buy a leupold for life. Sell the rifle, keep the scope for your next.

Just my humble opinion, but if you in fact owned that particular rifle, I'd think you'd know how to spell it correctly.Plus, with the amount of money spent for an Armalite AR50 , I'd hardly think the cost of an effective scope would be a concern.
