has anyone used canned key lime pie filling?

I have a can of Musselman's brand key lime pie filling and want to use it for an easy no bake pie. Wondering if anyone has used this one before-thnx

    i have, its not bad, but a lime pie made with real limes is much tastier.

    what u need to do is pre bake a pastry and then pour the ready made pie filling.

    what i did, was make a meringue and put it in the oven for about 15 minutes, that really makes it nicer.

    Funnily enough the round style 'Key Lime' turns up according to season as a 'lime' in stores- but is not labelled as such. I had the same wish as you after my first stint in FLR - I found that in fact that ANY lime will make a decent job- BUT if you want a really interesting tilt on the subject - slosh in a jigger of white rum into the mix- Then they will not know what continent the pie came from..... B the way Keith Floyd- Floyds American Pie - good recipe!!!
