My truck has no CD player, but it has a cassette deck so I can listen to some audiobooks.
Rather than buying a CD player ot install why don't you invest in an IPOD and a FM transmitter? Then you don't have to worry about CDs getting lost or skipping and you can take it with you everywhere.

i have this problem too, if i leave it a few days it normal spits it out eventually. I have been advised that using copied CD'S can damage, and that why the reader fails. the guy at the store told me to clean the player head when i can next get at it, as this will help. He said the problem cant really be fixed fully, a new cd player is the only other option

If you have a tape player all you have to do is go to Walmart or any department store and get you a portable cd player and plug it in.Or if nothing just go buy a cd player and get someone who knows how to hook it up install it for you

You could go out and buy one or my brother riged an old car with the liter and it was pretty old too. he used that energy then channeled it into his portable cd player and then something in the tape player but I don't quite know how, you'd have to ask him.

There's cd player adapters you can put in through the tape player, but i'd get one put in for a few hundred bucks for christmas. Best buy did come to mind.
