I would like more memory for my Dell laptop. It would be nice to play games too. What do I need?

People say I need a video card, or special game card? I have looked at the MyBook, or some kind of external memory but I don't know enough about any of it. I have a lot of pictures and run a printer too. I just want to get the best usage for this computer.

Its a Dell Inspiron 6000. I am not sure of the memory it has. Its standard.

right click on the "My Computer" icon and select properties....and see the memory of RAM...example:128MB,256MB, 512MB or more.

if it is 128 or 256, u may need to upgrade ur memory...for that i prefer KINGSTON DDR only. They are liitle costlier than others but quality is far far better....and LIFETIME WARRANTY.

Invest on external hard drive for your files such as photos, music, etc.,this will free up your system and run faster. Then upgrade your RAM to maximum allowed by your system.
