Should I stay away from Toshiba Laptops?

I have had Toshiba Laptops for many, many years but the latest ones have really gone down hill. They Freeze up every 5 minutes (this is NOT an exaggeration) and won't go into Hibernation. Next time your at the computer store take a demo and try to put it into hibernation, you'll see what I mean. Years ago I wrote the CEO and told him of a battery problem, within a week I have a phone call and a new battery in the mail. Now I write the CEO about the above problems and NOTHING. I think I may try Sony next time.

DO NOT stay with Toshiba laptops. Try Dell! They are famous for the inspiron, latitude, and XPS laptop series......

call them and tell them what you plan on using it for. they will find the perfect one!

I am using a Toshiba laptop now! I have had it almost 2 years and I love it. I have not had a single problem with it.

Yes, Toshiba laptops are cheaply manufactured and prone to failure. In addition, they use used or refurbished parts and contract out their repairs.
