Codes for 800 mhz scanners knowledge?
We have a new scanner. It is supposed to pick up everything. It did last week. Our area St Joseph, MO has just converted all to digital. Through this transition we are told new codes will be available. Does anyone in this area have anything that's NOT already been posted on internet? This includes police, fire and etc. Thanks in advance. Scanner is Uniden Bearcat.

The frequencies shouldn't be hard to find. You can even look through the FCC data base on line. No charge.
The bigger question is whether your new scanner is digital capable. You don't say in your question. If it's not, you won't be able to understand the conversation, anyway. They will sound like a bunch of chirps and buzzes.

Easiest way to get them is just submit a request to your local township. They are required by law to give you the freqs within 90 days. I used to work for Radioshack and get the freqs for the local cities. also try cityfreq.com
