America honors individuality, innovation, and freedom, and it offers some of the best human/civil/women's rights in the world.

And even when those rights get threatened/trampled by the powers that be, you still have the right to have your voice heard, to petition for new laws, to vote for representatives that will honor those rights.

Sure, America may not always be great, and some of its leaders can be disgraceful and idiotic... but the foundation, the dream of greatness is always within our grasp.

Wait, this makes no sense. If I had a choice, why would I want to be an American? That kind of negates the whole choice thing.

Oh, and I would would rather be Djiboutian. Just so I could say that every time someone asked my nationality.

The only thing I don't like about America is that we are the most overweight country in the world. That's not a very good reputation to have.

What are my other choices? I've often thought of living in Canada instead.

I love my country... I'm just not thrilled with some of the people who are in charge of the government.

I might go with Australian instead.

As much as I don't like this country, it's still one of the best choices out there.
