how can i maintain the crispness or the crunchiness of homemade cookies?

when my homemade cookies are freshly baked they are crispy, but it losses it crunchiness the next day, i had try everything, store in dry container at room temperature.... or put them in the refrigerator.... all turn out the same..... could anyone pls help me............ i really appreciate it.

    Make good use of the heel in your loaf of bread - put it in the bag/container with the cookies.

    i dont think u can. maybe u can just store it in the container and then bake it for 5 minutes the next day to make them crispy, I hope this will work for u.

    You can stick them back in a preheated oven for just a minute and I've done that before just before a party . I don't know exactly what kind of cookies you are working with but it should work on most.

    I'm having the same problem, but nobody seems to really mind if my cookies are crunchy or not. They are just glad to have them.

    Now, i'm not an experienced chef but i suggest you:

    Add to your recipe some trans fat.

    It may not necessarily be good for you but according to New York chefs who apparently are experiencing restrictions against the use of trans fats say that it is great for keeping up the texture of their food for days at a time.
