is it true that when one lose a lot of weight from exercising...?

they will have less skin leftover than when one lose weight through a gastric bypass? I have noticed that when i watch "the biggest loser" they look soo good whereas a bypass, the patient has to go through another surgery to remove skin?

    Because they loose weight too fast.

    Loose it slowly, and the skin tightens up as you loose weight.

    Ahh the biggest loser, that's fun, we've run three of those at our club and they're big hits!

    Don't know the scientific reason behind this, but logically thinking I believe exercising helps to improve the skin elasticity. With exercising, the total weight loss is a combination of fat, water, muscles etc and over time, it is gradual enough for the skin to adapt itself to hold in the new body.
