any new anime?
i was wondering if anyone knew of any good NEW anime, stuff that has just been released or will be in the near future. we're (my husband and i) are drawn more towards animes like kenshin, saiyuki, full metal panic... i really like funny, he likes funny also and he likes mech and serious as well. a good plotline - neither of us like naruto (probably because we like stuff that isn't plastered all over). new recommendations would be great, and if you could give me a brief synopsis or a direct link with one that would be great!

There is:
Gintama- action/comedy about a silver haired guy and his 2 friends and their adventures in the end of the Edo period in Japan, and it has been taken over by aliens!
Hellsing- horror/ action anime taking place in England. there are vampires and things! this is new, but I did not watch it because I'm a scared little girl.
Fate/stay night- fantasy anime about a boy named Emiya Shiro, he lost his parents in a fire and he was adopted by a sorcerer who teaches him sorcery and things, but he is mostly incapable of sorcery. he learned one difficult spell though, and he saves people and helps them with things.
Death Note- Light Yagami, high school student who hates crime and corruption in the world, he finds a notebook on the ground and it's instructions are whoever's name is written in that notebook will die, he thought it was just a joke until he tries putting the names of criminals in it, and then they die. From then on he does justice, killing bad people with his notebook.^-^ haha~ but it's really great!
Witch Blade- Amaha Masane, a woman who had lost her memory in a catastrophy that took place in Tokyo, she was found unscratched with a baby in her arms. she finds out later that the crystal on her arm is actually the "Witchblade", and she fights while trying to have a peaceful life with her daughter.

Trinity blood-A action one, heard it was very good.
Pani Poni Dash- A new high school comedy. also good
Nerima Daikon Brothers- A comedy with music.
Negima!- A fantasy with action.
Ultra Maiden Valkrye- A mixture of genres
Karas- Serious action one. Excelent.

It depends on what language you want to watch it in.
Bleach is currently alot better than naruto in my opinion, and it's dub is better than most.
Currently new and popular in japan is D. Greyman. I highly recomend this anime. It's lik Full Metal Panic and Full metal Alchemist....well..kinda..

ERGO PROXY was pretty good
they also redid hellsing which made the series much more... interesting.

theres naruto but that's not that new but its freakin awesome and the prince of tennis
