Does my poem make sense?

"How Fast"

how fast life changes

no one really knows.

how fast people change

can be pridicted

how fast our fates change

is some how in our hands

how fast our heart changes

is a matter of our choice

how fast a life is concieved

is a matter of few seconds

how fast a life is taken

is a matter of split seconds

how fast our childhood passes

is a matter of how we age

how fast our life ends

is a matter of how we spend our time

how fast happy times pass

is a matter of how we preserve them

how fast sadness passes

is how we deat with it

how fast you fall in love

is a matter of who you love

how fast your learn to hate

is a matter of who taught you hatered

how fast your wounds heal

is how u you take the pain

how fast your scars fade

is a matter of how fast you forget them

how fast you absorbe these words of mine

is a matter of how fast u accept reality.

Who cares? When you write poetry, it is a pure expression of yourself. You are the only one who is supposed to know what sense it makes. The reader is suppossed to make their own meanings out of your words. Just like music...grammar and sense are thrown out. I do think it is beautiful.

Incidentally though, if you are intending to be a poet, be forewarned it is like being an artist: you aren't famous, and your work isn't priceless, 'till your dead. That is another sad reality....

how fast or slow life changes

can be sometime be predicted by

how fast our fates change and that

is some how in our own hands

most of the time, but not always

    there are outside circumstances

    and situtions and influences

and things that we don't know

    or ever understand that intervene

how fast our own heart changes

is a matter of our own choice

most of the time, unless we are in

    extreme emotional positions

    sometimes beyond our own control

how fast a life is concieved

is a matter of few seconds

    sometimes and sometimes

    it never happens for some

people at all even if they want it

and that is the way it is meant

to be if they like that or not

how fast a life is taken

is a matter of split seconds

    depends sometimes people

    die slow grueling death

    and the medical industry

    keeps them from getting

on with it and it destroys them

    how fast our childhood passes

is a matter of how we age

no this is not always true,

how we age can be influenced

    by our childhoods though

    how fast happy times pass

is a matter of how we preserve them

yeah I think this is true

    how fast sadness passes

is how we deal with it

    not just that though

    there are other variables too

how fast you fall in love

is a matter of who you love

no it is a matter of who you are

    not who you love

how fast your learn to hate

is a matter of who teaches you hatered

    yeah to a large extent

    how fast your wounds heal

is how u you take the pain

partially and what you do to

    make things right again

    how fast your scars fade

is a matter of how fast you forget them

Yes and no, one must forget and yet

remember too for the lesson that they can

use to help themselves and others with, but

not to dwell on it in a negative way and

not to make it the most important thing

how fast you absorbe these words of mine

is a matter of how fast u accept reality.

what is reality to you? nothing on this net

is ever really real is it, can't and don't

people play games on here all the time?

The concept is good. There are some very cool lines in there, but if I were you I would go at it with a chain saw and see how much better it CAN be.

The lines about how fast a life is conceived and the split seconds it takes to be taken floors me! Excellent!

Very nicely done. You may want to consider submitting it to a legitimate forum like Poetic Diversity: http://www.poeticdiversity.org/ for consideration of publication. Good Luck!

If by "Does my poem make sense?" you mean "Do my poem's messages make sense?", then yes. If you mean "Does my poem make sense grammatically?", then it could be better.

Just a bit of criticism; try going over each line to make sure each sentence flows and doesn't sound too awkward.

    Good luck!
