How to know what kids believe? I need to find a way to figure out if my future step children still believe?
Obviously I can't just straight out ask because if they still believe in Santa, then I will have just spoiled everything for them. So without there fathers opinion I would like suggestions on how to figure it out? Thanks for any advice you can offer!

Just ask them what are santa bringing them for christmas? or sit and observe to see if they mention it. Some of the time, if they do then gifts wouldn't be under the tree. Just ask them during general conversation and if they don't they should tell you.

If they have doubts about the existence of Santa...they will ask. Otherwise you should assume they still believe

SAy this to them "What do you want Santa to bring you?" if they something then they do believe if they say i dont believe in santa well then they dont believe in him. TRUST ME! THIS WORKS ALL THE TIME I TRIED IT 7 TIMES AND THEY ALL WORKED well even more times

Ask them if when they leave cookies and milk out for Santa, if they leave carrots for the reindeer.

Just act as if they do, if they don't then explain the reason why you do ,, what the spirit of Christmas really is

the best way to figue it out is to ask. honestly. jsut ask them if they beleive in santa. if they say no, there theres your answer. if they say yes... then go along with them.
