Any suggestions on groups of upbeat (not christian rock) southern style gospel choir groups/albums?
To be more specific, the stuff that really gets going by the end of the song, clapping, screaming, whatever... I like trying out all kinds of new music but don't know what groups to look for here. Thanks.

All are Southern Gospel groups and a lot of their songs are upbeat... not rock. Check out the link and you'll find a lot of info on Southern Gospel Music

All these are good but I am not sure on how new they are. The Dfw mass choir, Mississippi mass choir, and the Georgia mass choir. Their is also a few cd's called Wow gospel with a little of everyone on them.

They are very new and they have an album.. i am not sure if it is in stores, but theyare called th anchormen
