Hate Working Out...?
I hate to workout, but I need to. I don't like going to the gym, especially by myself in which NO ONE will go with me. Anyway, do any of you have any advice to make working out a little better?

I think NOT depending on friends is going to end up being the best thing for you! If you don't have friends you're waiting on, then you will be more likely to get out and exercise because you won't be hinging your schedule around other people. I had to learn this too. My boyfriend was and still is always busy and we never go together. At first this bothered me, but then I realized I was only hurting myself by waiting for the schedules to match up or the motivation!
I would first and foremost find a workout you like! Dance to music or get a dog to walk or a bike. Find what your favorite thing to do is and that will make it a lot more fun. I hated working out and I ended up getting this crazy dog who drug me around the block. I saw such a difference in jogging that I never thought jogging could do. I got so excited and that propelled me to want to work out more. That made it more fun for me. Changing your thought process would help you fun factor tons. Start telling yourself you love to work out even if you don't. Always replace "I hate to work out" with "I love to work out". This does wonders to your moral even if you don't know it right away!
And like others have said. There is nothing better than listening to your own personal soundtrack when working out.
Good luck! I hope this helps!

One thing that helped me a lot was when I learned in physical therapy that I don't have to knock myself out when I work out. Many people work out much harder than they need to to get the health benefits. The rule of thumb that I learned is that you should be able to talk but not be able to sing -- if you're completely breathless it's way too hard. So if you've been knocking yourself out unnecessarily I can see why it's been an unpleasant activity. Also, make sure that you're properly hydrated; that helps you to feel much better, too.
One thing that I don't like about working out at the gym is that it's sometimes quite boring, which gives me time to focus on how hard it is. The gym I go to has TVs that I can watch, but I have also taken up the habit of reading while on the treadmill. In fact, I have combined exercise with my studies, which is helping me to get prepared for my big exam as well as get in shape.
I just heard a talk tonight that said that the hardest part of working out is getting your shoes on. So if you're having a hard time psyching yourself into exercising, just put on your shoes, and it'll get a lot easier from there.
You don't necessarily have to work out in a gym. Tonight I didn't feel like going to a gym, so I took a walk around the neighborhood and mailed a card and picked up a few things at the store, then walked home. That's more exercise than I've done in a week, but having the goal of things I was going to do at my destinations motivated me to walk.
You can also use the principles of reward and consequence. Reward yourself with something nice when you do work out like you want, and you can even set up a system where a number of workouts will help you to earn something special that you wanted to give yourself. It could be as simple as a visit to a special place or you could even buy something you wanted. You could even make a little chart where you put stickers to keep track of your progress. Rewards make exercise motivating! And after a while you might find that the exercise is its own reward.

Well, play some of your favorite music & walk on a treadmill or jump rope -burns calories fast. Or put in a fun work-out DVD! Try renting a couple if you can & see which one you like best, then buy it. Good luck! Also, Denise Austin comes on in AM on cable. Try taping it everyday & work out with her. She's very encouraging, it's only half & hour, & it's well-balanced by her expertise. :)))! (She mixes it up everyday which keeps it interesting!)

Many people ask me how they can slim down. I recommend that people eat right and exercise. However, if they would like a little "help", I suggest using natural Hoodia (it's important to note that not all Hoodia works well, even if the bottle says "pure" or "standard").
The Hoodia sold at http://301url.com/free-diet-pills is in my opinion the best Hoodia on the market. It's pure, has no side effects, and they give you a free 15 day sample (there is a $7.99 shipping and handling charge, but they also give you free recipe and diet guides). Fantastic results have been seen with this particular Hoodia.

yea, I have the same problem. my friend are lazy and I always hated going my self but when they are getting fat and sloppy and I have people complementing me it fuels my fire and give me drive to keep it up. don't do it for anyone but your self and you will be rewarded later.
