Do gummi bears freeze?

I just went for a smoke and saw 2 gummi bears on the ground. I stepped on one. It was still squishy. It is 22 degrees outside and snow all over. Just curious.

i think they can only be destroyed by being eaten. really...my sister once put one inside a book and a few years later she found it and it was good. she ate it. she's 20 now and really ok. so.....

The higher the sugar content, the colder it has to be before it will freeze (had Mountain Dew and Diet Dew in the car all night, temp below freezing, prob low 20's. In the am, the Diet Dew was all over the back seat... the (real) Dew was slushy but not yet frozen solid...) Of course, if those little gummis were dropped 5 min before you got there, they'd still be soft.
