I do and I have my work cut out for me. I need to lose 125 pounds.

    There are no real secrets :/. Just exercise and eat healthy (which means healthy foods and not overindulging).

    I know this woman who was pretty dumpy but she speed walked for an hour or two every day with her dog every day for about a year. She looks incredible now.

    I've also heard of people using all sorts of ways to help get through it: hypnosis, acupuncture, spa-treatments, religion, etc. But of course, none works better than good old exercise and healthful eating.

    Another thing that works is cutting out dinner entirely. Instead of eating a little breakfast, a medium sized lunch, and a big dinner, it should actually be the other way around: BIG breakfast, a good lunch that'll last you through the day, and a tiny dinner.

    My aunt lost weight by doing that. Started out her day with a large breakfast. Had lunch. And for dinner, all she ate was an apple and a glass of milk. If you do that, it shouldn't starve you, it should just fill you enough to get you through the day.

    I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

    I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

    It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

    I have a resolution as well. I need to lose 60 lbs......

    The best way I have seen and read and heard from those who have done it is to watch what you eat and to exercise. Any exercise will do, if you aren't used to working out, walking for 10 min is a great start. There is a wonderful website http://www.fitday.com/ that allows you to track food intake, exercise, log your lifestyle and keep records (weight loss, etc.) and it gives you "reports" when you ask for them about how you are doing, what you are eating and where you are burning it.     I lost 105 pounds in 6 months. Here is how I did it.

    1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.

    2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).

    3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water.

    It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me.

    On Jan 1, I'll start Weight Watchers again with the hopes of losing 20-25 pounds and I'll do my best to keep them off in 2007!!

    you have to eat less more often then youre body wont find a need to store engergy as fat because it will always have some coming in. thats the least risky way i know of just be sure that your not eating crap eat healthy foods eat 6 small meals a day or eat every 2 hours (its the same thing if youre awake about 12 hours a day) skipping meals is the best way to GAIN weight so dont skip meals

    I do, but have started early. :) I have roughly 300 pounds to lose, and I plan on losing it all by the end of 2007. :D

    For it to work I'm going to have to change my lifestyle. I know what I need to do and should be doing. Now I've got to get my **** in gear and do it!
