  • My son says I blackmailed him!?

My son is 16 years old. This morning he didn't want to get up and instead wanted to play hooky from school and begged me to let him stay home. I finally told him that if he stays home, he will have to cancel something that he had planned to do tonight that he's been looking forward to. He got mad and said I was "blackmailing" him but I told him I was just doing whatever necessary to get his *** out of bed. What do you think?

PS: Blackmail or not, it worked. He finally got up and went to school!

  • Bald spots on cat!!!?

My cat is 12 years old. Every now and then she will get a random bald spot usually on top of her head or on her neck...but she has also gotten them on her back. I took her to the vet thinking it was ringworm, and they did cultures and didn't find anything wrong. They don't seem to bother her at all and the hair just gradually grows back. Just wondering if anybody else's cat ever had this problem. Thanks!

  • Help! Chocolate milk stains.......?

My son spilled a good bit of chocolate milk on his light tan colored cargo pants. I washed them but the stain must have been too set in because it didn't come out at all and the pants are not wearable now. Any suggestions? Thanks!

  • Job interview for 16-year-old?

Tomorrow my 16-year-old son has his very first job interview. Is it appropriate for me to sit in on the interview? His dad thinks I should but I really don't think it's appropriate. I think he should do it on his own. What do you think?

  • How can I learn to like my job?

I have the potential of making a pretty decent living for myself and my son, except I HATE MY JOB. I am a medical transcriptionist and I make about $50K/year. I'm 42 years old and I don't want to spend the rest of my life in school. Do you have any ideas how I can learn to like my job and accept it? Or do you think I should just buckle down and go to school? Only problem is, if I went to school I'd probably be making less than that when I graduate. grrrr....I don't know!!!

  • Embarrassing!!! On a date, I barely fit into the roller coaster seat!?

On a date recently, I could BARELY fit into the seat on a roller coaster!!! The attendant had to spend extra time pushing the bar down as hard as he possibly could so I wouldn't fall out and I couldn't even breathe during the whole ride!!!!! Later that evening my date told me I was too big for him and that he prefers smaller women. Would this have embarrassed you??

  • Okay, I finally asked him out.....?

I finally got up the nerve to ask out a guy I kind of had a crush on (we are both in our 40s).....He acted like he was pleasantly surprised I asked him (this was over the phone), but THEN he told me that from now until the end of the year is a very busy time for him (he owns a construction company so I know he's busy at work), and he suggested we go out AFTER THE HOLIDAYS. What the heck does this mean???? On one hand, I understand, but on the other hand, if he was really interested, wouldn't he be able to find ONE freaking evening free in the next six weeks???? Maybe he was trying to be nice and let me down easy......I don't know!!!! What do you think??

  • I am morbidly obese?

Do you think my 16-year-old son is ashamed of me when his friends are around? He says he's not, but I think he's just trying to not hurt my feelings.

  • Women only--how do you wax??

I've often wondered if women are serious when they say they wax "down there". I've considered doing it but doesn't it hurt like hell? And also, what would you use to do that? Doesn't it make the skin look awful, all red and bumpy? And how often do you have to do it?

  • TEEN magazines?

Does anybody know where I could find old issues of a magazine called TEEN from back in the late 70s or early 80s? I don't mean the "Tiger Beat" type magazines..this was a magazine for teenage girls that I believe is still being published--fashion, makeup, etc.

  • Why do men prefer women who are slim and fit?

I mean, they'd rather a woman have a dog face than an ounce of fat on her body. Can anyone explain? Be nice!
